School Presentations

Cascade Sled Dog Club is available for school presentations about the history of dog sledding (especially in Oregon) and how dogs are still run today! Every year, we are contacted by schools studying the Iditarod race to allow children hands on exposure to harnesses, ganglines and a chance to stand on the runners.

Pee Wee Race

Every year, children can try out riding on the runners at our Frog Lake Race.

After watching teams go out on Saturday, children enjoy a controlled down-back ride of approximately 100’ with a single dog team.

Outdoor Shows & Events

In 2019, we were sponsored by Snowvana to speak to dog-powered sports in Oregon with attendees at our booth and provide rides to children similar to the Pee Wee Race above.
