Mentoring Program
The members of the Cascade Sled Dog Club are committed to sharing our love of dogs, sledding, and other recreational dog sports such as skijoring with others. With that in mind, we have decided to act as mentors to anyone who is interested in learning more. The individuals below have offered their time and experience should anyone wish to contact them.
Tim Curley
I have been running dogs since 1990. I ran sprint and skijoring until 2008, then switched to mid distance. Currently I run 12 dogs in mid distance races.
Some of my accomplishments include:
Pacific Northwest Champion 05/06 in the 4 dog sprint class
Pacific Northwest Champion 08/09 in the 6 dog mid distance class
Pacific Northwest Champion 09/10 in the 6 dog mid distance class
I am always willing to help any one with questions or problems in getting their dogs ready.

Kim Tinker
I have been skijoring for 14 years, 3 time Pacific NW champion. I started with just one dog and now have seven. I also enjoy time on my sled when the skijoring conditions aren't good and, when the snow melts, nothing beats a dog scooter.
I enjoy helping people get into this sport and really enjoy seeing the dogs blossom into happy working dogs. Every dog wants a job!
