Stay tuned for any last minute adjustments, but as of now, we'll see you all on 2/25! ]]><![CDATA[February's Message]]>Wed, 08 Feb 2012 18:02:01 -0800http://www.cascadesleddogclub.com/2/post/2012/02/februarys-message.htmlHere we are in February and Frog Lake finally has enough snow so we can run all the trails. If the snow holds we should have no problem with putting on Frog II. With all the cancelled races in January, Frog II should have a good turn out. Looking Forward to seeing everyone at Frog II and having a good time. Julie and I and all the dogs went to Eagle Cap Extreme sled dog race in Joseph Or. We had a great time there. The dogs and I took 5th place. The race is will organized and everyone in town supports the race. The race has lots of volunteers and officials from Alaska, Washington, Montana as well as Oregon. It's an exciting race to attend.

Hopefully everyone's training is going as planned and you are on target for the races that you want to attend.
Looking forward to putting on Frog Lake #2. I know the club will step up and put on another successful race.
Pray for snow.

I need to apologize for not getting out my president's message last month. I got carried away with the October training and forgot all about the President's message. Time just slips away.

Hopefully everyone's training is going according to their plans. We are all looking forward to getting more snow. Personally I hope it happens soon. My dogs are going to get tired of using the 6 & 8 dog loops to get my 20 miles in training. Once the snow does start to pile up, the Mt. Hood Snowmobile Club will start grooming the trails. We need to keep in mind that the time and effort that it takes to keep the trails groomed is all done voluntarily.

The Christmas Party and gift exchange will be a fun time for those that attend. Hope to see you all there.

Happy Trails,Tim ]]>
